Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name of Winona Laura Hoowitz, who was born in Winona Minnesota. Her name was chosen by her parents in honor of the town where she grew as a child. Michel Horowitz is her father, while Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's dad was born into an ethnically Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. Ryder is the youngest sister of Uria as well as half-siblings Jubal & Sunyata. In the year Ryder was only seven her family moved from Mendocino County, California. Mendocino County California. They didn't even have electricity. Television books were Ryder's only distraction for her time, and she was a voracious reader. Ryder aged 12 was enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. When she was 15years old, Ryder was offered her first acting job on screen, in Lucas. Ryder was bullied at her high school. Ryder hoped that her actions would bring about a change. However, it didn't happen. But she pushed on with her dream. In 1988, it was when Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that was her breakthrough. Ryder continued to be successful in her characters in numerous films. Two Academy Awards were nominated, one of which was for The Age of Innocence (1996).
