Jill AND Mary

Jillian Noel Shennessy, born November 25, 1968, in Canada is a Canadian actress and musician who has been honored for her outstanding contributions in American television. Her most well-known work is her incredible appearances on American television programs like Law & Order (where she impressed viewers over three seasons in the role of prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she portrayed Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character Jordan Cavanaugh). Her acting talents were on display in the films RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as well as Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. Through these independently produced films, she showed off co-directing skills and her writing abilities. Hennessy started her acting career along with her sister, playing twin call-girls on Dead Ringers in 1988. She spent a short time on Broadway in the musical Buddy The Buddy Holly Story. The Buddy Holly Story, and then delved into the world of science fiction in 1993 as Doctor. Marie Lazarus. Following that she made her most famous break when she joined NBC's hit show Law & Order to play the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. Her three-season stint in the part was an instant hit with the public. She left in 1996. Mary Louise Parker.......................Mary-Louise Parker (born August 2 1964, height 5' 7 1/2" (1,71 m)) is an American actress best known for her current lead role on Showtime's television series Weeds portraying Nancy Botwin for which she has received several nominations and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in 2006. Parker has been featured in television and film series such as RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys at the Side The West Wing Angels, for which Parker received an Golden Globe Award as well as an Emmy Award. Parker was also honored with an Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her part in the role of Proof on Broadway.
