Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil as well as Telugu film, as well as to a few Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Award Best Actress Award for playing the character Savitri. In addition, she received an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar's parents are film producer G. Suresh Kumar & actress Menaka G. Suresh. In the early 2000s, she began as a young actor. Following her study of fashion design, she returned to film. She played her first major character as a lead actress in Geethaanjali (2013), an Malayalam motion picture. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first film projects that were not in Malayalam and was signed to be a part of several Tamil film projects simultaneously. Her first film, A. L. Vijay's romance comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015. The film was starring Vikram Prbhu. The film was not a success at the box-office. She had to drop out of a number of films she was already working on in 2015, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vedam in order to allow for bigger projects. The result was that she worked on two films with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo and also played the leading role on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari along with Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film was pushed back from 2015 with reports that it would be released in September, 2020 under the new name Janakitho Nenu. Subsequently, the first film to debut was in 2016's Nenu Sailaja featuring actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was first seen on screen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) alongside actor Vijay.
